Commercial Vehicle Training

This group of courses are aimed at technicians who service and repair vehicles over 7.5 tonnes including the systems detailed below.


N.B. All of the courses listed are aimed at Level 2 to Master Technician.

Courses can be delivered to bespoke requirements and can be delivered both on and offsite.

Air Braking and Suspension Systems

The course identifies the components fitted and the operation of the pneumatic system.

The technician will understand the port identification and the expected results when testing.

The course provides the technician with the correct procedure for performing a thorough inspection of a commercial vehicle including the chassis, braking, electrical and powertrain systems.

Fabrication and Welding

Aimed at technicians with little to no experience of fabrication. This course details the correct methods of measuring, cutting, grinding and ARC/MAG/MIG welding.

The skills provided will allow the technician to perform routine fabrication repairs in a professional manner providing a professional and secure repair.

Basic and Advanced Electrical Testing and Diagnostics *

This course provides an in depth understanding of electrical systems including correct use of test equipment. The basic course is aimed at Technicians with little to no electrical experience.

The advanced course is for technicians who wish to improve on their current skill level.
